Your friendly neighborhood Joshua Tree baker. After living in (and exploring the culinary delights) Europe, South America, and Los Angeles, Kate returned to her childhood roots by moving back to the high desert. After her father-in-law tasted the fancy cupcakes purchased for her baby shower and exclaimed, “These are ok, but honestly not as good as yours,” Kate decided to make baking “a thing”. Her first large event? Baking her very own wedding cake. She wasn’t even mad when the guests were stealing slices to take home with them.
